Chapter 5.24. STREET VENDORS |
§ 5.24.030. Permit application—Content.
An applicant for a street vendor's permit shall submit an application to the community development director. The application shall include the following information:
(1)
The true name of the applicant, together with the names of all persons directly or indirectly interested in the conduct of the street vending activity, including all members of any firm or partnership. A corporate applicant shall list the officers, directors, and principal owners, including all owners of ten percent or more of the corporate stock;
(2)
Whether or not any street vendor's permit heretofore issued to the applicant to engage in street vending within the city or elsewhere has been revoked or denied, and if so, the circumstances surrounding the revocation or denial;
(3)
The location at which the applicant proposes to vend;
(4)
The type of goods, wares, merchandise, food or other personal property to be sold or offered for sale, the proposed hours of operation, and a description, drawing, or picture of any fixtures or equipment to be used at the location;
(5)
Evidence of payment of the license tax required under Chapter 5.04 of this code for the then-current year;
(6)
Such additional information bearing on the identity of the applicant or the applicant's employees and the location and nature of the proposed vending activity, as the community development director or the chief of police may require.
