§ 8.40.050. Permit for storage—Issuance.

  • The city council shall issue a permit to the applicant for storage of liquefied petroleum gas or installation of equipment for the storage or use of such gas in the event the storage of such gas or installation of such equipment for storage or use of such gas is determined to be not dangerous to the general welfare and health of the residents of the city and the city council, in the event the council determines that the storage of liquefied petroleum gas or installation of equipment for the storage or use of liquefied petroleum gas is dangerous to the general welfare and health of the residents of the city, shall not issue a permit to the applicant for storage of liquefied petroleum gas or installation of equipment for the storage or use of such gas. The charge for such permits shall be the same as for natural gas permits.
