§ 8.40.040. Permit for storage—Application—Filing—Hearing on initial rejection.
The application provided for in Section 8.40.030 shall be delivered to the city council to be passed upon and, in the event the council determines that the storage of liquefied petroleum gas or the installation of such system for the storage and use of such gas is dangerous to the general welfare and health of the residents of the city, the council shall give written notice to the applicant for such permit, requiring such applicant to attend a hearing within ten days from the date of such notice and show cause why a permit should be issued for the storage of such gas or installation of such system.
