§ 8.44.060. Occupancy during building construction.

  • (a)

    During the construction of a building or buildings, the owner of the lot may, for his own occupancy, apply to the building inspector for a permit to occupy a trailer coach for a period not to exceed six months. The building inspector may issue such a permit provided the sanitary facilities for the occupancy meet with his approval.

    (b)

    The permit provided for in subsection (a) of this section may be renewed for not to exceed one six-month period, provided the building or buildings are not ready for occupancy and construction has progressed in a reasonable manner.

    (c)

    Any permit issued under the provisions of this section shall terminate and be null and void upon completion of the building or buildings.
