Violations of the provisions of this chapter or failure to comply with any of its
requirements, including violations of terms and conditions established in connection
with franchises issued pursuant to this chapter, shall constitute a misdemeanor. Any
person, whether as principal, agent, employee or otherwise, who violates this chapter
or fails to comply with any of its requirements shall upon conviction thereof be fined
not more than $1,000.00 or imprisoned for not more than six months in the county jail,
or both. Each day such violation continues shall be considered a separate offense.
