§ 8.04.087. Deposit required for new service.

The customer, upon requesting new service, shall be required to pay a deposit prior to service being established. Such deposit shall be returned to the customer immediately following six months in which no charges become delinquent. In the event the customer requests termination of service, any outstanding deposit shall first be applied to outstanding charges. Any remaining deposit shall then be returned to the customer within 30 days following request for termination of service. The amount of the deposit shall be set from time to time by resolution of the council.
