§ 5.20.040. State franchise holder PEG fees.

Any state franchise holder operating within the city shall pay to the city a public education and government ("PEG") fee in the amount of one percent of gross revenues, as set forth in Public Utilities Code § 5870(n) at such time as the city council determines, by resolution, to begin imposing and collecting this PEG fee. City shall provide a minimum of sixty days' written notice to the state franchise holders then operating within the city of the imposition of the PEG fee and the effective date that the PEG fee will commence.
