The California Energy Code 2016 Editions of the Residential and Non-Residential Regulations, as published by the California Energy Commission, providing provisions to safeguard the public health, safety and welfare by regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation and maintenance or use of energy and energy systems. The California Energy Code 2016 Edition is hereby adopted by reference. There is one copy of the California Energy Code 2016 Edition on file in the office of the community development department/building division for use and examination by the public.
