§ 13.14.020. Nonpayment—Disconnection of services.

  • In addition to any other remedy that the city may have for the collection of delinquent utility charges and fees under ordinance or state law, in the event of nonpayment of any one or more of the utility services billed in the consolidated billing pursuant to this chapter, the city may disconnect and terminate all utility services to the service location. Prior to any proposed disconnection or termination of utility services for nonpayment, the city shall give notice of the delinquency and the impending disconnection or termination as provided in Sections 13.04.240 and 13.12.340.
