Article I. Service Regulations Generally |
§ 13.04.010. Purpose and intent.
The city council, in the interest of protecting the health, safety and general welfare of the people of the city, adopts the ordinance codified in this chapter to carry out the following purposes:
(1)
To supply treated water purchased from the Placer County Water Agency and Nevada Irrigation District to users;
(2)
To establish procedures for provision of water to residential, industrial and commercial users within the city;
(3)
To establish procedures for provision of water to certain limited users outside the city;
(4)
To provide for the ongoing implementation of a metered rate system.
